Strawberry Pink Lip Gloss :) Shiny, glossy and pinky!!!!!

 I am usually not a big fan of lip gloss, I find that way too sticky and unpleasant to wear…. I personally wear lipstick and if I just want a little bit of shine and glitters, I use lip balm (I can make a nice shiny lip balm that does not give you that sticky sensation…. Yet I have decided to make lip gloss….

Only because it is fun to prepare and I also thought it could be the occasion to test it out in case I ever want to make lip gloss as a present for someone… as I do know some women that actually wear lip gloss.

• Sucrose acetate isobutyrate (and) Caprylic/Capric triglycerides – 3ml
• Lanoline Substitute – 3ml
• Pink Mica
• Gold Mica
• Shiny Mica
• Natural strawberry extract -  4 drops

Make sure every single container, tool, and area is clean and well disinfected (I use 70% alcohol)

Whisk the Sucrose and lanoline together until you obtain a homogenous consistency. Then add the strawberry extract and the Micas until you obtain the color you want (I did not measure the quantities, I just added each color little by little until I managed to obtain the color that I was satisfied with.

I only wish I had used more strawberry extract because in the end, my lip gloss does not taste like strawberry at all. I am happy because it is not as sticky as my first try with only Lanoline substitute. I will definitely not wear this when around my boyfriend… I am not sure that any guy likes lip gloss…
